The Crossing

-

Every day, the equivalent of 2,000 garbage trucks full of plastic are dumped into the world’s oceans, rivers, and lakes.

A highly polluting material, plastic, acquires a poetical meaning in The Crossing. With the interaction of the two dancers, the plastic becomes alive, representing the Mediterranean sea with its waves.

This performance tells a journey, crossing of the sea, in search of hope.
