In this exhibition, sculptor Maen Florin reveals a range of her past and recent work, from her dolls to her large colourful ceramics.
Her impressive human-sized ceramic sculptures, made of earth, water and fire, come together in a varied ecosystem. Like a futuristic oasis, Strange Paradise plays with living things and transports us to other poetic worlds where symbiosis between species becomes possible.
Resonating with this atmosphere of anticipation, intoxicating sounds from the album Eldorado (2021) by Catherine Graindorge (BE), one of Maen Florin’s sources of inspiration , echo from a far-off fantastical country.
