Acte Bonté is an electronic music duo formed in Brussels in 2017 by Fiona and Rébecca Brunet. They use their synthesizers - haunted by a rough 9 volt current - their sampler and their drum machine to serve pop and experimental compositions, where the machines have their own voice, between vocoded flights and obsessive loops. Their songs, with often cryptic lyrics sung in French, English, Japanese or Italian, conjure up forgotten places, ghosts on the run or taking the bus, the night and its flickering lights. Their first self-titled album was released in 2020 on the Brussels label Midi Fish. The duo is currently working on a new album, to be released in 2023.
