Museum Night Fever All Inclusive

Our top tips for inclusive activities during Museum Night Fever

5 days to go until Museum Night Fever! It’s time for our little tips on inclusive activities for a unique evening out this Saturday!

Here’s a selection of 6 museums where you can set the dancefloor alight, but also take a well-deserved break. There’s no better way to enjoy a well-balanced MNF.

  • SHOW ME YOUR FAVORITE DANCE MOVE !

1- Train World (Accessible to PRM, accessible by car) (18)

Let’s kick off MNF 24 with a little show and tell at Train World! The Rolling Stars will be taking over the Salle des Pas Perdus for a series of high-level wheelchair dance performances. You’ll be able to admire a wide variety of numbers, whether solo, in duet or in group, set to ballroom, Latin or contemporary music!

You can also enjoy performances by the Creahm BXL collective, which offers sessions of electronic music, dance and drawing. Stimulated by the choreographer, the dancers learn new movements and make them their own, developing their own body vocabulary: a language that conveys emotion.

Finally, visit the TB Manifesto Tattoo Bar and experience the fun and inclusive ephemeral tattoos created by illustrator Lulendo Dikenda. Take home unique designs that will make your body speak.

2- CIVA (Accessible to PRM, accessible by car) (24)

CIVA is getting ready to move into its new home at KANAL: it’s time to celebrate! From 2025, CIVA will be moving from its iconic building in Ixelles to KANAL. Join the CIVA and the Patrimoine à roulettes team for an unforgettable evening to mark this extraordinary move. With the move your body in space’ project, come and transform the entrance hall into a fluorescent dance floor thanks to an ephemeral installation of customisable cardboard boxes! Dance to the rhythm of a playlist specially concocted for the event in silent disco mode, creating a unique and immersive experience for everyone.

3- House of European History (Accessible to PRM, accessible by car) (20)

Come back in time to the House of European History, destination: the Roaring Twenties! Immerse yourself in this vibrant era by posing in period clothing! With the help of a costume designer, you can choose costumes and accessories worthy of the Great Gatsby and strike your best pose in front of the camera!

You can also attend̀ a cabaret show by CABLAB. Cabaret Laboratoire fosters the meeting of the open stage and the professional stage in order to present you with never-before-seen stagings. On the bill: Circus performers, drag performers (queen/king/queer), burlesque divas, poets, singers or any performance art that needs visibility and a sympathetic audience.

Ready to dance? Come and learn the basics of swing dancing, while enjoying a jazz concert, with the EASY SWING team, who will get you swinging like never before! This wildly rhythmic evening of celebration and sharing will introduce you to the cultural and intellectual effervescence of the Roaring Twenties.

  • NEED A BREAK FROM THE FEVER ?

4- Brussels City Museum (Not accessible for PRM, not accessible by car) (8)

The Brussels City Museum offers you a night dedicated to reconnecting with yourself. Come and relax with Tamara & Alex, and embark on a journey through the seasons of life, thanks to their intimate music performance entitled Seasons. As the name suggests, each musical tableau will transport your body and soul from winter to summer and from spring to autumn.

In the mood for some deep meditation? Koben Sprengers and violinist Clara Levy will guide you through their performance Meditation for String Quartet. Lie back and admire the museum’s historic architecture, while the gentle sounds of the violins lull you to sleep.

5- Royal Military Museum (PRM access with assistance, and by car) (21)

Moment of Peace @ the Royal Military Museum: peace awakens the creativity of young Belgian and foreign artists at the Military museum ! Take part in inspiring workshops to suit all tastes: writing messages of peace, creating incense cones, textile printing, making badges and origami… And that’s not all! Art installations with live music, photobooths, guided tours and even a pop-up bar await you for an unforgettable evening combining history, art, creativity and reflection in an iconic setting.

6- La Loge (Not accessible for PRM, accessible by car) (25)

In the mood for introspection? Immerse yourself in the imagination of Thu-Van Tran through her exhibition Write as the Beasts Cry at Night. The Vietnamese artist draws on literature, history and nature to explore the question of exile, the mutations of beings and languages in the wake of colonial narratives.

Thu-Van Tran’s nocturnal universe will be nurtured by Doris Hardeman’s performance reading and Alex Deforce’s dreamlike musical set, which will resonate with the film in the main installation. The atmospheres developed by the two artists invite you to an immersive and meditative experience that is sure to transcend you.

Whether you’re looking to dance the night away, or unwind and reconnect with yourself, Museum Night Fever promises an evening of excitement to suit all tastes!
