Looking to take a break from the evening’s wild and exciting programming? Don’t worry, Open Museum has got you covered with a selection of calmer activities that allow you to recharge to make the most of your night. From peaceful concerts to creative workshops, Museum Night Fever offers something for everyone, regardless of your energy levels or social battery.

At the BELvue museum you can partake in Bodies in Rhythm, a collaborative performance where you help create a textile artwork through slow, repetitive and intentional gestures, inspired by art deco and the interwar period.

In the Museum of the National Bank of Belgium, join artist Lucie Lenardon for a unique workshop in which you design your own banknote made from other recycled ones. Your creation becomes part of a collaborative artwork – a lasting memory of your night and your visit to the museum.

After exploring the Charlier Museum, you can sit down and let your imagination run free to create a unique Chimera object’-postcard. Your creation may even become part of a temporary exhibition in the museum afterwards.

Or you can turn introspective at the House of European History and join the time capsule workshop. Take a moment to reflect on your future self and send them a message, inspired by the museum’s photo archive. Here, you can also pay a visit to a fortune teller, who offers tea and card readings throughout the evening in her Tente des Echoes.’

Truly magical are the secret miniconcerts at the Coudenberg Palace, presented by Indies Keeping Secrets.’ In a unique underground atmosphere, four secret artists invite you to be carried away by their music.

At the Old Masters Museum, Sarah Navarro and Akim Hida tell you the poetic story of Le Chercheur in both French and French Belgian sign language (LSFB). This tale allows you to slow down and dream away. Or you can experience Bare Skin Silence, a participatory installation by textile artist Suzanne Corcessin. She invites her public to add their own touch to a collective sensory work centered on skin and feathers.

Lastly, at the Brussels City Museum, Weve presents her debut album Cobalt. Expect a warm and intimate concert blending original compositions with works rooted in South American traditions through accordion, voice, accordina and guitar.
