Dressing

To consider the garment worn is to consider its meaning: what does it mean to ​“wear” a garment?

Through the creations of some fifteen contemporary visual artists, placed in dialogue with works from the Schaerbeek municipal collection (19^th and 20^th centuries), the Dressing exhibition invites us to question the sensoriality of clothing, at the interaction of the body, clothing and the work of art.

The exhibition offers an opportunity to discover works from a different angle, focusing on clothing, an element that is often peripheral and invisible, but which, in the context of the exhibition, moves from the margins to the center.
