The CINEMATEK is the place to go for lovers of the seventh art. It features one of the world’s best collections of films as well as a permanent exhibition offering a cabinet of curiosities and spaces where you can spend hours going through digital archives. On screen this evening is an anthology of short films punctuating the history of animated film from 1910 to the present day.
And in the main hall, Hélène Meyssirel and her team get an installation of models and animated film sets moving to recreate live the short film L’incident diplomatique nous pend au nez. Front row seats behind the scenes of an animated film, yes please !
