Martina's project consists of projections of various Magritte’s artworks in the prestigious Forum of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts. By moving in front of the projections, the public will be able to manipulate the imagery. The aim is to create an interaction between the visitors and the paintings, playing with different timelines: the paintings are old but come back to life and still evolve today thanks to the technologies and talents of contemporary artists.
This installation-performance highlights the poetry of Magritte's works and the personal interpretations by everyone. This new kind of cultural mediation on the crossroad between the informative and artististic shows the importance of the convergence of new technologies, art and museums.
